Our reheat instructions are based on a standard home oven, stove and microwave. Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. We recommend using the instructions as a guide and check the internal temperature before serving. The best way to do this is to use a probe. The internal temperature must be above 75C. If you do not have a probe, insert a knife into the centre of the product and ensure it is piping hot. You will get the best result if you defrost the meal prior to reheating. The safest way to do this is to defrost your meal in its sealed tray or pouch in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours.
Cooking Time:
5 to 17 minutes
Reheat in Microwave:
1. Place vacuum pouch into a microwave safe container and carefully pierce a hole in 1 corner.
2. If defrosted, microwave for 5-7 minutes (the pouch may expand during reheating, this is normal).
3. If frozen, microwave for 9-10 minutes (the pouch may expand during reheating, this is normal).
4. Carefully remove pouch from microwave as the pouch will be quite hot.
5. Serve and enjoy!
Reheat in Hot Water:
1. For optimum results, place vacuum pouch into a suitable sized pot of hot water once simmering.
2. If defrosted, simmer for 7 - 10 minutes.
3. If frozen, simmer for 14 - 17 minutes.
4. Carefully remove pouch from boiling water as it will be hot.
